Children are the future of a country, development of the country depends upon the type of citizens we are producing in the future, education can only bring about the change so we must start from the grass-root level to provide quality education to the unprivileged children living in the rural areas of Nepal. It’s a praiseworthy job initiated by the teach for Nepal(TFN) to improve the educational status in the country and produce prospective leaders.
Seeing the poor performance of the SLC result, it is a compelling message for all of us to take some real and dignified effort to work on it. I think TFN movement will surely going to improve the education system in our country. Hence I want to join hands with them for this beginning.
A single seed sowed produces many fruits, likewise, a single leader in education will surely produce hundreds of future leaders to come. The vision is great and great minds working in it. Hence I am sure I will make a big difference.
The intensive two-year leadership training program is designed for us to tackle one of the most pressing issues in Nepal – education inequality and quality of education – while preparing us to become effective lifelong leaders.
It helps us to develop our leadership in the following areas:
a) Classroom
We learn the potentiality of these poor and needy children and believe in the inherent potential of each of the student and work diligently to put each child into a different life path and be an effective leader as a teacher.
We learn to lead by action and display courage and compassion to support children in difficult socio-economic circumstances to excel. We learn to become an inspirational role model to the students.
- b) Community
During the fellowship, we will have the opportunity to identify, design, and implement community-based projects. We will work with students, school teams, and community members to solve real problems in school or communities that schools serve. These projects will not only benefit the community but help us develop project management and leadership skill.
- c) Leaders of today and tomorrow
As alumni of TFN, we will have the opportunity to engage in a variety of leadership role to bring fundamental transformation to education in Nepal. We will become life long leaders, who work to ensure quality education for all children in Nepal.
The TFN is about becoming a leader and working towards achieving success for ourselves and others. It helps us choose one of four leadership development tracks to excel. The Fellowship presents a challenging and rewarding opportunity for us who want to develop our skills while having an impact.
During the Fellowship, we will have the opportunity to pursue the leadership courses. These courses will offer an opportunity to develop our understanding of the following sector and prepare for post-fellowship life.
– Social Entrepreneurship
– Entrepreneurship / Small Business Development
– Government, Policy, and Advocacy
– Education and School Leadership
– Teach For Nepal Fellowship
Hence I would contribute myself personally to join TFN for two years full commitment to serve the government schools or community schools of Nepal, learn about the anthropology of the places outside Kathmandu valley and fulfill my hobby of visiting new places.
मलाई नेपालको लागि Teach for Nepal सिकाउनमा किन रुचि थियो?
बच्चाहरू एक देशको भविष्य हुन्, देशको विकास हामी भविष्यमा सिर्जना गरिरहेका नागरिकहरूको प्रकारमा निर्भर गर्दछ, शिक्षाले मात्र परिवर्तन ल्याउन सक्छ त्यसैले हामीले असीमित बच्चाहरूलाई गुणस्तरीय शिक्षा प्रदान गर्न घाँस जरा तहबाट सुरु गर्नुपर्दछ। नेपालको ग्रामीण क्षेत्रमा बसोबास गर्ने। यो देशको शैक्षिक स्थिति सुधार गर्न र सम्भावित नेताहरू उत्पादन गर्न नेपाल (TFN) को शिक्षा द्वारा शुरू गरिएको एउटा प्रशंसनीय काम हो।
एसएलसी नतिजाको खराब प्रदर्शन देखेर हामी सबैलाई यसमा काम गर्न केही वास्तविक र मर्यादित प्रयास गर्न बाध्य पार्ने सन्देश हो। मलाई लाग्छ TFN आन्दोलनले पक्कै पनि हाम्रो देशमा शिक्षा प्रणालीमा सुधार ल्याउनेछ। यसैले म उनीहरूसँग यस सुरुवातको लागि हात मिलाउन चाहन्छु।
एकल बीउ छरिएर धेरै फल फलाउँछ, त्यस्तै गरी, शिक्षाको एकल नेता पक्कै आउन सयौं भविष्यका नेताहरू उत्पादन गर्दछ। यो दृष्टि महान हो र यसमा काम गर्ने महान दिमागहरू छन्। यसैले म निश्चित छु कि म एक ठूलो भिन्नता ल्याउनेछु।
गहन दुई बर्षे नेतृत्व प्रशिक्षण कार्यक्रम नेपालका सबैभन्दा महत्वपूर्ण समस्याहरू मध्ये एक – शैक्षिक असमानता र शिक्षाको गुणस्तर – जब कि हामीलाई प्रभावकारी आजीवन नेता बन्न तयार पार्ने उद्देश्यले समाधान गर्न डिजाइन गरिएको हो।
यसले हामीलाई निम्नलिखित क्षेत्रहरूमा हाम्रो नेतृत्व विकास गर्न मद्दत गर्दछ:
क) कक्षा कोठा
हामी यी गरिब र दरिद्र बच्चाहरूको सामर्थ्यता सिक्छौं र प्रत्येक विद्यार्थीको स्वाभाविक क्षमतामा विश्वास गर्छौं र लगनशील भई प्रत्येक बच्चालाई बिभिन्न जीवन मार्गमा सार्न र शिक्षकको रूपमा एक प्रभावकारी नेता हुन प्रयास गर्दछौं।
हामी कार्यद्वारा नेतृत्व गर्न सिक्छौं र कठिन सामाजिक-आर्थिक परिस्थितिहरूमा उत्कृष्टताको लागि बच्चाहरूलाई समर्थन गर्न साहस र अनुकम्पा प्रदर्शन गर्दछौं। हामी विद्यार्थीहरूको लागि एक प्रेरणादायक रोल मोडेल हुन सिक्छौं।
b) समुदाय
फेलोशिपको बखत, हामीसँग समुदायमा आधारित परियोजनाहरू पहिचान, डिजाइन र कार्यान्वयन गर्ने अवसर हुनेछ। हामी विद्यार्थीहरू, स्कूल टोलीहरू, र समुदाय सदस्यहरूसँग स्कूल वा स्कूलहरू प्रस्तुत गर्ने समुदायहरूमा वास्तविक समस्याहरू समाधान गर्न काम गर्नेछौं। यी परियोजनाहरूले समुदायलाई मात्र फाइदा गर्दैन तर परियोजना व्यवस्थापन र नेतृत्व कौशल विकास गर्न सहयोग पुर्याउँछ।
c) आज र भोलि नेताहरू
टीएफएनका विद्यार्थीका रूपमा हामीले नेपालमा शिक्षामा मौलिक परिवर्तन ल्याउन विभिन्न नेतृत्व भूमिका खेल्ने अवसर पाउनेछौं। हामी आजीवन नेता बन्ने छौँ, जसले नेपालका सबै बालबालिकाका लागि गुणस्तरीय शिक्षा सुनिश्चित गर्न काम गर्दछन्।
TFN एक नेता बन्ने र आफू र अरुको लागि सफलता प्राप्त गर्ने दिशामा काम गर्ने बारे हो। यसले हामीलाई उत्कृष्टता लिन चारवटा नेतृत्व विकास ट्र्याकहरू मध्ये एक छनोट गर्न मद्दत गर्दछ। फेलोशिपले हाम्रा लागि चुनौतीपूर्ण र इनामदायी अवसर प्रदान गर्दछ जुन प्रभावको प्रभावको साथ हाम्रा कौशलताहरू विकास गर्न चाहन्छन्।
फेलोशिपको बखत हामीसँग नेतृत्व कोर्सहरू अनुसरण गर्ने अवसर हुनेछ। यी पाठ्यक्रमहरूले निम्न क्षेत्रहरू बारेको हाम्रो समझलाई विकास गर्न र पोस्ट-फेलोशिप जीवनको लागि तयारी गर्ने अवसर प्रदान गर्दछ।

यसैले म TFN मा सामिल हुन व्यक्तिगत रुपमा योगदान पुर्याउने छ दुई वर्ष पूर्ण सरकारी प्रतिबद्धता वा सरकारी स्कूल वा सामुदायिक विद्यालयहरूको सेवा गर्न, काठमाडौं उपत्यका बाहिरका ठाउँको नृविज्ञानको बारेमा जान्न र नयाँ ठाउँहरू भ्रमण गर्ने मेरो शौक पूरा गर्न।
